Who do you work with?: 
THUBELIHLE works with female, male or transgender sex workers;street based sex workers; indoors sex workers;HIV positive sex workers; regardless of their gender or race.
How are sex workers involved in your organisation?: 
The organisation is sex worker led, chair person and vise chair of the organisation are sex worker, spoke person is also a sex worker we have volunteers who conducts outreaches who are sex workers.
Which of NSWP priority areas does your organisation work on?: 
Oppose the criminalisation and other legal oppression of sex work and support its recognition as work
Critique the trafficking paradigm that conflates representations of sex work, migration, and mobility
Advocate for universal access to health services, including primary health care, HIV and sexual and reproductive health services
Speak out about violence against sex workers, including violence from police, institutions, clients, and intimate partners, while challenging the myth that sex work is inherently gender-based violence
Oppose human rights abuses, including coercive programming, mandatory testing, raids and forced rehabilitation
Challenge stigma and discrimination against sex workers, their families and partners, and others involved in sex work
Advocate for the economic empowerment and social inclusion of sex workers as sex workers
What are the two main challenges that the sex workers you work with face: 
Sexual abuse, harassment by the law enforcement agents, segregation and ostracism by the community where they reside. Sex workers also face challenges of sustainable livelihood. Like everyone else in society they have responsibilities of fending for their families. Even though who generally gainfully employed face the same challenges of making ends meet. The meager salaries force them to become sex workers this means some of them have more than one job at once.
Describe other areas of your work: 
The right to work in a safe environment free from harassment and abuse will also be violated for sex workers.THUBELIHLE will ensure the right to seek safe and pleasurable sex by sex workers. In view of HIV/AIDS pandemic the organisation will endeavour to influence policy makers to ensure the right to dual protection of the sex worker. This will entail making sure that sex workers enjoy the right to be protected by the law.
