How are sex workers involved in your organisation?:
Estamos como Promotores de la Salud, trabajamos en TS derechos Humanso y VIH/SIDA /ITS Educadores de pares, talleres de uso correcto del condon y como negociar el condon con los clintes, Cambiando las politicas publicas que en ves de veneficiarnos nos perjudican a los TS, Estando en las mesas y tomas de desiciones.
We as Promoters of Health, working in TS Humans rights and HIV / AIDS / STI peer educators, workshops for correct use of condoms and how to negotiate condom with clients, changing public policies that instead of harming us will benefit TS, and being involved in the taking of decisions.
Which of NSWP priority areas does your organisation work on?:
Oppose the criminalisation and other legal oppression of sex work and support its recognition as work
Critique the trafficking paradigm that conflates representations of sex work, migration, and mobility
Advocate for universal access to health services, including primary health care, HIV and sexual and reproductive health services
Speak out about violence against sex workers, including violence from police, institutions, clients, and intimate partners, while challenging the myth that sex work is inherently gender-based violence
Oppose human rights abuses, including coercive programming, mandatory testing, raids and forced rehabilitation
Challenge stigma and discrimination against sex workers, their families and partners, and others involved in sex work
Advocate for the economic empowerment and social inclusion of sex workers as sex workers
What are the two main challenges that the sex workers you work with face:
Unos de los mayores retos es que no se reconoces como trabajadores sexuales y en no usar el condon con sus parejas afectivas y la persecucion policiaca otro de los retos en el reglamento de policia y buen gobierno.
The greatest challenges include not being acknowledged as sex workers and maintaining condom use with infected individuals. Another challenge is persecution by the police and other law enforcement agencies.
