Who do you work with?:
We do work with anyone who identifies themselves within the most at risk population i.e., men who have sex with men, female sex workers, male sex workers, women, young transgender, people who are living with HIV.
How are sex workers involved in your organisation?:
We currently have ten sex workers who are registered members of our organisation, of the ten one is an elected member who is currently serving on our board of trustees.
Which of NSWP priority areas does your organisation work on?:
Advocate for universal access to health services, including primary health care, HIV and sexual and reproductive health services
Challenge stigma and discrimination against sex workers, their families and partners, and others involved in sex work
What are the two main challenges that the sex workers you work with face:
Many sex workers who we work with continue to face health related stigma and discrimination, criminalisation of sex work and male cross dressing, police brutality.
Describe other areas of your work:
Our organisation is working in the forefront of HIV prevention, promoting advocacy, education, involvement, leadership and accountability.
