This assessment on the impact of COVID-19 on sex workers’ access to health services in Europe and Central Asia was developed by the International Committee on the Rights of Sex Workers in Europe (ICRSE) and the Sex Workers’ Rights Advocacy Network (SWAN) through consultations with their memberhips.

Le 13 avril 2016, la France adoptait la loi « visant à renforcer la lutte contre le système prostitutionnel et à accompagner les personnes prostituées », devenant ainsi le deuxième pays de l’Union européenne à sanctionner les clients des travailleur.se.s du sexe. Depuis, deux chercheurs, Hélène Le Bail et Calogero Giametta, en collaboration avec 11 associations ont mené une enquête afin de documenter les impacts de cette nouvelle législation sur la santé, les droits et les conditions de vie des travailleur.se.s du sexe en France.

PION, Norway, with support from NSWP, submitted this shadow report to the 68th CEDAW Session, which took place October-November 2017. The report is based on in-depth interviews, conducted over a two-month period, with sex workers and social service providers. It documents how local administrative laws and the criminalisation of clients and third parties increase stigma and discrimination, impede access to justice and health services, and result in arbitrary deportations and evictions.

Amnesty International a publié leurs recherches "Briser" le Marché: À Quel Coût Humain? La Criminalisation du Travail du Sexe en Norvège Synthèse pour accompagner leur politque Relative à l'Obligation des États de Respecter, Protéger, et Mettre en Oevres les Droits Humains des Travailleuse et Travailleur du Sexe. Leur recherche démontre que les violations des droits contre les travailleurSEs du sexe en Norvège sont directement liés à la criminalisation des clients et des tiers personnes en Norvège. Amnesty International a également constaté tha les travailleurSEs du sexe eux-mêmes ont été pénalisés et criminalisés sous le «modèle nordique». Le Resaerch est le résultat de trois semaines d'entretiens avec 54 travailleurs du sexe en Norvège, ainsi que la recherche documentaire.
