International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers, London 15th of December 2011

The Sex Worker Open University has organised a candle light vigil in Soho, London on Thursday 15th December to remember friends and colleagues who were victims of violence.

SWOU have produced a number of videos to promote the event.  The first video can be seen on this page and the others can be viewed here and here.

The event will start at Picadilly Circus, Eros statue at 6pm and walk in Soho towards Trade Union Councils (TUC ) Congress House, Great Russell Street, WC1.

The programme of the evening include speakers, short movies, and refreshments. This event is organised by SERTUC LGBT Network in collaboration with Sex Worker Open University.

Member of STRASS, french union of sex workers
Short movie from Sex Worker Open University 2011
SERTUC women rights committee
John McDonnell MP
and a presentation by Dr Kate Hardy about sex workers' unionisation in Argentina.
