Who do you work with?:
Precious jewels basically work with female sex workers both brothel based and non brothel based.
How are sex workers involved in your organisation?:
Precious jewels are association of sex worker led organisation so every member of precious jewels is a sex worker. So sex g do more than 50% work in the association.
Which of NSWP priority areas does your organisation work on?:
Oppose the criminalisation and other legal oppression of sex work and support its recognition as work
What are the two main challenges that the sex workers you work with face:
Sex workers in my organisation face a lot of harassment from the police and other law enforcement agencies. The health care workers are not friendly with the sex workers too.
Describe other areas of your work:
We are working on the area of condom distribution and lubricants and also enlightment on the health issues of FSW.
